Description:

We are in search of an eager and newly qualified teacher to fill the role of an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Working with Academics as an ECT is a great opportunity, for you, as a newly qualified teacher to gain more experience and confidence in the classroom.

This role would be fit for an individual who is looking for the flexibility of supply but also would be open to working for a number of different schools across Birmingham.

As an ECT you will be expected to:

Deliver appropriate and engaging lessons for all abilities
Ensure that classroom rules and routines are followed
Work in collaboration with other teachers and teaching assistants to support the students
Display an eagerness and commitment to professional developmentEarly Career Teacher (ECT) Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 curriculum
Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
