Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Careers Teacher to join our team in Thetford, Norfolk. The Early Careers Teacher will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons to SEN students, supporting their academic and personal development during the crucial early stages of their education. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the school's curriculum and educational objectives.

Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to actively participate and excel academically.

Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.

Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive school community.

As an Early Careers Teacher in Thetford, Norfolk you will collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement effective teaching practices and initiatives.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in education.

Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives aimed at promoting student well-being and achievement.

Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent).

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS through a recognized teaching program.

Passion for teaching and supporting the holistic development of young learners.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to a collaborative working environment.

Strong commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning.

Experience working with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential.
