Do you have E-Planning Engineer experience, and are you seeking a new job in Cranfield? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a company in the automotive industry find an E-Planning Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £27.00 per hour. This role is inside IR35 and a 12 month contract. This role will require being on site in Cranfield 3 days a week.
As a E-Planning Engineer, you will oversee the design and development of the vehicles electrical systems at a feature or sub-system level, depending on project needs. You will also manage the quality and the development schedule for the electrical parts on the vehicle.
In your first few weeks in this E-Planning Engineer role, you can expect to:
Collate KPI from all electrical design teams and present information during electrical & electronic (EE) milestone meetings
Work closely with electrical R&D teams, manufacturing sites and project teams to gather feedback in preparation for EE milestones
Schedule EE project milestones and prepare risk assessments based on project master schedule and EE content
Prepare and issue the necessary documentation to the EE teams according to the project schedules
Prepare EE project milestone presentations based on standard templates and KPI data gathered

Competency with PC applications such as MS Office
A valid driving license
3 years relevant experience in the automotive industry
Knowledge of electrical theory and electronic devices
Experience in hardware and software development processes
