E-Commerce Trading Assistant

Description:

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated E-Commerce Trading Assistant to join our E-Commerce team in York.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about E-Commerce and eager to learn about online trading and customer journeys. 

Working across the Pavers and Jones Bootmaker websites, you will be supporting the E-Commerce team in various tasks, including website maintenance and content updates, promotional activities, reporting/analysis and product intake. 

This role is perfect for a recent graduate who is a team player, has a real can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities for our E-Commerce Trading Executive

Assist in the execution of online promotions and marketing campaigns, ensuring all website content changes are briefed in and tested ahead of launch

Ensure all new products are listed correctly and on time, monitoring and fixing any errors

Ensure that product and collection pages across the website are optimised for a seamless shopping experience

Support the team in analysing website data and identifying trends and opportunities

Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates and customer feedback

Assist in competitor analysis to benchmark website and product performance

Carry out daily website checks and monitor the team inbox to address and resolve any website issues and bugs that are raised

Support preparing reports and presentations for team meetings

Assist in coordinating with various teams including buying, merchandising, marketing, warehouse and customer services

Provide general administrative support to the E-Commerce team
