Dynamics 365 Architect | Contract | £770 per day | Inside IR35

Milton Keynes / Hybrid (1-2 days per week)

Initial contract until end of Q1 | November start

We're supporting a major UK organisation through an ambitious, multi-year technology modernisation programme, with significant investment in Microsoft technologies, automation and the replacement of legacy systems.

The programme has strong backing from senior leadership and is now moving from discovery into build, with a particular focus on modernising CRM, customer experience and the wider application landscape.

We're looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Solution Architect who can take a strategic view of the Microsoft ecosystem while remaining close enough to the technology to challenge designs and guide delivery.

This is much more than a straightforward Dynamics implementation. You'll have the opportunity to influence how CRM, web applications, integrations and wider business systems fit together as the organisation evolves its technology estate.

What you'll be doing

Owning and evolving solution architecture across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the wider CRM ecosystem.

Helping shape the future direction of the organisation's Dynamics and Microsoft technology stack.

Reviewing existing CRM, membership and customer-facing applications, identifying opportunities for simplification and modernisation.

Designing solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, web applications and integrated systems.

Assessing legacy application architecture and helping define how systems should be modernised, replaced or integrated.

Working alongside enterprise architects, business stakeholders and external delivery partners.

Providing architectural oversight, challenging technical designs and ensuring solutions align with wider business objectives.

Balancing strategic architectural thinking with the practical realities of implementation and delivery.

What we're looking for

Strong experience as a Dynamics 365 CE / CRM Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments.

Broad knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform and the Microsoft ecosystem.

Experience architecting solutions involving multiple applications, integrations and customer-facing platforms.

A strong understanding of CRM architecture, application modernisation and enterprise integration.

Ability to look beyond individual Dynamics components and consider the wider technology landscape.

Experience working with third-party consultancies, systems integrators and internal technology teams.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to operate at both technical and strategic levels.

We're particularly interested in architects who can see the bigger picture. Someone who understands Dynamics in depth but can also advise on how the wider application estate should evolve, rather than simply implementing what already exists.

The details

Rate: £770 per day (Inside IR35)

Duration: Initial contract through to the end of Q1, with potential for extension

Location: Milton Keynes, 1-2 days per week on site

Start: ASAP, ideally before 13 November to allow for handover
