Description:

A Naval Architect is required to support the generation and delivery of the following technical outputs, working alongside FDG Nav Arch:

Whole boat concept sizing tool - Excel based
Validation of FDG toolsets
3D spatial model generation and development - Rhino3D
General Arrangement - Rhino3D/AutoCAD
Stability model generation and development - Paramarine
Evidence generation - Conduct of side studies investigating whole boat impact and exploring the trade space on the following non exhaustive design characteristics:
PH Sizing and Configuration
Cladding Impact
Manning
Margins
Infrastructure
Armament
Consolidated Design Report

Delivery of this task will require continuous collaboration across the FDG's technical disciplines and frequent reporting of progress to the FDG Leader. As such it is expected that the task should be completed by a single individual based out of Abbey Wood for the duration of the task. The level of effort expected for this tasking will be 5 days per week
