Duct Hygiene Technician / Engineer (Team Leader)
Benefits
• Starting salary of £26k - £28k dependent on experience.
• Shift pattern - 4 day week followed by 5 day week – every other Friday off.
• 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements
• Full Clean UK Driving License
• Experience working at height and in confined spaces preferred
• Ideally experienced in ductwork cleaning to TR19 standards with General Hygiene Technician (GHT) Qualification.
• Ability to manage a team
• Flexibility - works are carried out “out of hours” and therefore shifts generally start late afternoon/early evening. Jobs are based nationally so you will be required to travel to site using a company vehicle.
• A high level of enthusiasm and a good work ethic.

The role will include:
• Working at various sites across the UK.
• Cleaning of ventilation duct systems including canopies, duct work and fan units to TR19 standards.
· Installing access panels where required.
· Working in confined spaces and at height.
· Communicating with customers.
· Understanding and carrying out risk assessments on sites prior to works commence.
· Understand and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
My client is a specialist cleaning and ventilation contractor seeking a Duct Hygiene Engineer Team Leader to help strengthen their team. My client works with a number of national hotels/restaurants/ fast food on the go chains to ensure they meet the highest standards of hygiene. My clients are members of BESA and full training will be given to ensure this standard is met by all team members.
