Role: Children's Home Registered Manager for 2 x New 2 bed Children’s Homes
Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £50k rising to £55k when both homes open and operational
Plus Bonus £3k pa per home, criteria dependent and £1000 bonus if achieve Outstanding Ofsted rating, payable each year retained

This is a fantastic opportunity to join my long-standing client who have several children’s homes and whom have a profound child centred approach and provide great staff welfare!
The role of dual registered children’s home manager would suit an experienced children’s home manager looking for their next step in their career towards senior management.
The first home is nearly ready to open, you will help in completing the finishing touches to make it a family feel home and setting up of the home documents, interviewing for your new team.
Once you are managing the first children’s home successfully you will then be tasked in opening their second children’s home which is close by. You will then manage both homes with an Ofsted dual registration.
Both homes will only have two child placements and you will be supported by a deputy manager in each home.
You will be involved in matching the correct placements of children in the home
On call is shared with the deputy managers on a rolling rota basis and other registered managers are close at hand to offer advice.
The company has a HR department to fully support you.
The Essential Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years management experience in the children’s residential sector, ideally have proven registered manager success with Ofsted.
· To have attained the Level 3 or Level 4 children’s residential qualification.
· Enrolled on or completed the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management children & Young People qualification.
· Full Clean Driving Licence
