We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic DT Teacher to join their successful Technology department. This Colchester school is committed to delivering high-quality education, encouraging creativity and innovation, and supporting students to achieve strong academic and practical outcomes across Key Stages.

Job Overview:
* This school caters for students aged 11-16.
* Full-time, Monday - Friday, DT Teacher role.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Design Technology lessons across KS3-KS4.
* Inspire students through creative, practical, and project-based learning opportunities.
* Teach areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or related DT specialisms.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support strong attainment.
* Promote safe working practices within practical classroom environments.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity and participation.
* Work collaboratively with the Technology department and wider school staff.
* Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of varying abilities.
* A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
