Drylining Supervisor – Construction
Location: Christchurch
Duration: Approximately 12 Months
Start Date: End of Month (Subject to programme)
We are currently seeking an experienced Drylining Supervisor to join a large residential development in Christchurch.
The successful candidate will oversee drylining works on site, ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards and within programme. The role will involve carrying out Quality Assurance (QA) checks, managing sign-offs and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating drylining trades and subcontractors.
*
Carrying out regular QA checks and quality inspections.
*
Managing sign-offs and ensuring completed works meet the required standards.
*
Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
*
Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme.
*
Maintaining high standards of health and safety across site.
*
Being responsible for opening the site first thing in the morning and securing it at the end of the day.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Drylining Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role.
*
Valid SSSTS qualification.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
First Aid qualification.
*
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
*
Strong understanding of quality assurance and drylining standards.
*
Must be locally based due to the responsibility of opening and closing the site.
The Opportunity
*
Approximately 12 months' worth of work.
*
Working on a large residential development in Christchurch.
*
Reporting directly to senior management.
*
Expected start towards the end of the month, subject to the completion of the metal frame designs.
