Drivers Mate - Day Shifts
Location: Redruth, Truro & Newquay
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
We're recruiting Drivers Mates to support delivery teams across various locations in Cornwall. This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, being on the move, and providing excellent customer service. Early starts are required, with ongoing opportunities available for reliable candidates.
Shift Pattern:
Early morning starts
Day shifts
Overtime may be available
Your Duties May Include:
Assisting the driver with deliveries
Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
Heavy lifting and manual handling of products
Helping to safely transport items into customer premises
Ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and on time
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Maintaining health and safety standards at all times
Supporting the driver with route and delivery requirements
Keeping vehicles and delivery areas clean and organised
What We're Looking For:
Good level of physical fitness due to regular heavy lifting
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Able to work as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous warehouse, logistics, removals, or delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
