Driver's Mate – Shefford

Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Split shift pattern across 4 days per week (hours and days will vary so full flexibility is required)

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Driver's Mate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and being out on the road.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and acsess to their own vehicle to get to site & must be comfortable heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting drivers with the delivery and collection of event furniture and equipment.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Carrying, moving, and setting up furniture at customer locations.
Ensuring all items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
Supporting warehouse operations when required.
Maintaining high standards of customer service on-site.

Requirements:

Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting on a daily basis.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible split shifts.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
