Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting for a Labourer / Driver to join a leading maintenance contractor working on a social housing voids contract.
Working alongside a team of Multi-Trade Operatives, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are delivered to site while assisting with general labouring duties across void properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving company vehicles to transport materials and equipment between sites.
* Assisting trades operatives with kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works.
* Clearing and preparing void properties for refurbishment.
* Loading and unloading materials.
* Carrying out property strip-outs and waste removal.
* Maintaining site cleanliness and adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Supporting the wider voids team with general labouring duties as required.
Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Previous labouring or construction experience preferred but not essential.
* Reliable, hardworking, and willing to assist across multiple sites.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Understanding of health and safety on construction or maintenance sites is beneficial.
