Description:
Daily:
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues with van immediately
• Review next day delivery/collection schedule every day and discuss with Operations team if any queries
• Ensure you have skate and tools on vans
• Keep workshop tidy
• Plan start time for the next day and potentially start earlier if required for loading etc.
• When needed, deal with garage and arrange services and MOT for both vans, change of tyres. Costs to be signed off by office first Deliveries/ Collections:
• Collect and deliver different furniture to customers (business and end consumers)
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues with van immediately
• Collect orders from suppliers
• Load and unload our vans carefully without damaging the furniture
• Keep workshop orgnised and label all collected items with relevant customer name to identify orders
• Always attempt to deliver on time and inform office or customer of any delays
• Ensure paperwork has been signed and dated by the customer
•
Clearly mark on the paperwork if additional items were collected OR less than expected, and highlight this in person on return to the office
• Ensure you are polite, introduce yourself to the client and enquire if they are happy with the delivered item. Remember you are representing the company and so polite and professional manner is of utmost importance
• Take pictures of all deliveries and post on what's app group Installations:
• Ensure you loaded all new furniture items and match it to the despatch note.
• Always come prepared when planning to install furniture at customers. Bring right tools and determine whether items need to be built in workshop or onsite
• Once installation is competed, clear after you and ensure customer is happy with product and placement
• Take pictures of completed install and share on what’s app group

• Flexibility and dealing with pressure: The very nature of the role means that very often due to unforeseen circumstances, problems may arise (traffic delays; van issues etc) To be successful in this role you must be able to stay calm and collected, work closely with the office and customers to resolve any issues and find the best possible outcome. It requires the driver to be flexible, remain positive and professional when faced with challenges or last-minute changes
