Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Stevenage
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Duration: Immediate start through to Christmas, with potential for a permanent position

Must be over 30 years old due to company insurance policy

We are currently recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly team based in Stevenage.

This is a varied role where approximately 60-80% of your time will be spent driving, with the remaining time assisting within the warehouse carrying out picking and packing duties.

Duties

Loading and unloading deliveries
Driving stock and fittings between the two warehouses
Picking and packing customer orders
Assisting with general warehouse duties
Maintaining accurate delivery and stock records
Ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently

Requirements:

Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Must be over 30 years old due to company insurance policy
Category B Licence essential
Previous driving experience preferred
Able to do HEAVY lifting
Comfortable with warehouse and manual handling duties
Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
Good attention to detail and time management skills
