Driver - Compound / Vehicle Ferrying Operative

South Killingholme | £12.71-£14.97 per hour

Pay: £12.71-£14.97 per hour (dependent on shift)

Shifts: 7am-4pm, 12pm-9pm, 9pm-6am (rotational, based on site requirements)

Working days: Monday to Saturday (weekend availability is essential)

Assignment type: Ongoing work, subject to site volumes

GI Group UK is recruiting Drivers to support vehicle ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics company based in South Killingholme.

The Role

You'll be responsible for safely moving vehicles across the client's site and ensuring they're positioned correctly within the compound.

Key Responsibilities

Safely move and relocate vehicles within and between compounds on site
Follow team leader instructions to ensure correct parking and positioning
Complete regular walking around the compound as part of daily duties
Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any damage or issues immediately

What We're Looking For

Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Category B)
Licence held for at least 2 years
Maximum of 3 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
Aged 22+ (insurance requirement)
Confident driving a variety of vehicles including manual, automatic, and electric
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
Own transport essential due to the site's remote location
