Band 2 - £11.45 - £20.95 per hour (shift dependent)
Monday to Sunday on rota basis
Working Monday -Sunday (5 days out of 7) on a mix of 7am-3pm and 8am-4pm

Overview
We are looking for Porters/Drivers to join our friendly team. Joining us as a Porter Driver you'll become a member of NHS Professionals staff bank. By becoming a bank member, you can access the first choice of long- or short-term placements and shifts, before they are available to agency staff. Duties will include
* Receiving goods inwards, checking quality, quantity, and temperature, and placing into appropriate storage areas.
* Following a stock rotation system in accordance with Departmental procedure, placing commodities into appropriate storage areas.
* Processing delivery notes against orders placed recording discrepancies.
* Waste disposal and recycling, this to include removal of cardboard, metals, plastic and food.
* Driving vehicles safely, and with due regard to other road users, speed restrictions, pedestrians, obstructions etc if applicable.
You'll have the following skills/experience
* Experience in a similar role.
* A full car driving licence is essential.
* Stores and/or distribution experience.
* To provide a general catering, portering and driver service to the Catering Department.
