Granite Recruitment are delighted to be hiring for an experienced Drilling Fluids Engineer to work on a rotational basis and be part of a committed talent pool of offshore engineers.
What does the job look like on a day-to-day basis?
Under generalised supervision, as well as being able to work autonomously, the successful candidate should be able to undertake the following duties:
* Use formal training in fluids chemistry, volume and hydraulics calculation, testing etc to deliver a competent well-site service.
* Operate, maintain and optimise equipment for testing, separation and waste management.
* Undertake routine and specialised testing.
* Conducting analysis of test results to provide technical solutions.
* Prepare and track inventory of relevant products and equipment at the rig site.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engingeering or Chemical Sciences
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer
* Experience working with water-based and oil-based fluids
* Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
* Rotation will be depending on location
