Description:
CAD Technician / Draughtsperson required for an expanding electromechanical engineering company based in Fakenham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD designer / Drafter looking to develop their skills and engineering knowledge with an innovative and dynamic organisation.
Specific duties for this Draughtsperson / CAD Technician role:
* Produce part and assembly drawings in accordance with BS8888 for internal and external customers.
* Creat BOMs for bespoke products and source supplier quotes for custom made parts
* Work closely with the senior design engineer and Workshop Supervisors to ensure projects run to timescale and costing
* Maintain database of drawings for continuous improvement of standard products
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
* Excellent working knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD or similar,
* Ability to produce detailed manufacturing drawings
* A sound understanding of mechanical engineering, with good knowledge of machined parts, fabricated assemblies and sheet metalwork.
* The ability to prioritise workload and deal efficiently with multiple projects.
