Key Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative drama lessons to secondary school students
Develop and implement an inspiring drama curriculum that meets the needs of all students
Encourage student participation and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
Organize and direct school drama productions, showcases, and extracurricular activities
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Uphold and follow the policies and behaviour management of the school
Requirements as a Drama Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching drama at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of the drama curriculum and effective teaching practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
