Are you a passionate and creative Drama Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026 until December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through engaging and imaginative Drama lessons while also delivering a small timetable of English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

Deliver high-quality Drama lessons that engage and challenge students.
Teach a small number of English lessons as part of the timetable.
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the wider English and Performing Arts departments.
Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
Confident delivering English lessons across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.
Is passionate about inspiring young people and supporting their academic and personal development.
Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
