Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: North London
Start Date: Immediately & September
Pay: £120 to 150 per day
TeacherActive is excited to partner with a vibrant mixed co-ed school in search of a committed long-term Drama Teacher. With an 'Outstanding' rating from OFSTED, excellent transport connections, and convenient staff car parking, this school offers a supportive environment for professional growth. The appointed Drama teacher will play a pivotal role in enriching the Drama department across all key stages, embracing the school's ethos and vision, staying abreast of educational advancements, and ensuring exemplary standards of teaching and learning.
This position provides the potential for permanent placement, initially focusing on Key Stage 3 (KS3) with opportunities to extend to Key Stage 5 (KS5). Responsibilities include preparing students for examinations and fostering a mindset geared towards future careers and employability. The successful Drama Teacher will also contribute to shaping the school's drama curriculum, maintaining subject expertise, and nurturing both personal and academic standards among pupils.
The ideal Drama Teacher will possess:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Drama specialization
Experience in teaching Drama up to Key Stage 5 (KS5)
Outstanding classroom presence and effective classroom management skills
