The Company
My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic properties and small commercial drainage failures. (90& domestic working) The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Drainage Engineer located in the Berkshire region, to work in areas nearby.
The Role
In this role, you will be expected to fulfil all drainage jobs to the required standards and the customer’s reasonable expectations (Full training and support will be provided prior to working alone)
You will predominantly be site-based undertaking all drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities. We are looking for an experienced drainage engineer - with exellent emergency reactive High Pressure Water Jetting -'blockage resolving experience' also a variety of skills - such as pre / post CCTV surveys, patching, reinstatement work, and experience of selling company services and products. Duties will include delivering a high-quality service to our commercial and domestic customers. It is fundamental that applicants have a positive "can do" attitude and a flexible approach to hard work and travel.
Responsibilities
* CCTV Camera survey of drains, record defects and recommend / carry out necessary repairs.
* Complete paperwork and send it back to the office electronically using the company mobile phone.
* Selling company services and products
* High Pressure Water Jetting
* Basic plumbing skills would be a huge advantage.
* Basic Groundworks, drain repairs (patching / lining) and reinstatements.
The Requirements
* CCTV Camera survey of drains, record defects and recommend / carry out necessary repairs.
* Complete paperwork and send it back to the office electronically using the company mobile phone.
* Billing on site and upselling and quoting works whilst on site - Essential experience needed
* High Pressure Water Jetting - Emergency reactive unblock resolving
* Basic plumbing skills at times (internal)
* Basic Groundworks, small drain repairs (patching) and reinstatements - not often but perhaps at times - not too essential
The Rewards
The company are willing to pay a competitive starting salary of between £30,000 - £32,000 plus enhanced rate overtime, excellent commission structure, and the opportunity to train with and develop your career with one of the region’s premium drainage specialists.
