Our client, a leading local authority, is currently seeking a Project Engineer with a focus on Drainage to join their team on a contract basis. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and delivering major civil engineering drainage or flood risk schemes, as well as highway bridges and structures projects. Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver major civil engineering drainage or flood risk schemes
Manage highway bridges and structures projects from feasibility to implementation
Carry out duties and responsibilities under the CDM regulations
Procurement, administration, supervision, and financial control of construction contracts
Job Requirements
Significant experience in the design and delivery of major civil engineering drainage or flood risk schemes
Experience in the design and delivery of highway bridges and structures
Ability to manage schemes from feasibility to implementation
Knowledge and experience of carrying out duties and responsibilities under the CDM regulations
Experience in procurement, administration, supervision, and financial control of construction contracts
Strong understanding of highway drainage
High proficiency in relevant software and technical tools
Requirements:
