Drainage Engineer – Field Service
Kent – (Dartford) and surrounding areas
Permanent – Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm
£29,000 - £34,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle + Bonus/Benefits
The Client
My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage and plumbing services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe.
Key Responsibilities
* The main purpose of the role is to carry out and resolve all drainage works in domestic & commercial properties (internal and external)
* Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customer’s drains – internal and external.
* High pressure water jetting
* CCTV surveys to trace and locate blockages.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
* Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures.
* Accurately record work details via internal and client systems
* Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided.
The Requirements
* You must have an excellent background in the drainage sector.
* Basic plumbing skills are an advantage.
* Relevant in-date drainage tickets, such as HPWJ, Confined Spaces are very desirable.
* CCTV camera investigation knowledge – very desirable
* Knowledge and capability of drain repair works (patching / lining / reinstatement works) would be an advantage.
* You will be required to work on call – 1 week in 4
* Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check due to client work premises.
* Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 points.
