Salary: £36,000 - £41,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to drainage maintenance and repair, including removing blockages, conducting high-pressure water jetting, performing dig ups, CCTV surveying, and responding to emergency situations promptly.

Responsibilities:

Identify and locate drainage blockages using CCTV surveying equipment.

Carry out high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages effectively.

Conduct dig ups as necessary to access drainage systems for repair or maintenance.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of drainage systems.

Respond to emergency call-outs promptly and efficiently.

Diagnose drainage issues and propose appropriate solutions.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of drainage systems and maintenance techniques.

Proficiency in operating CCTV surveying equipment.

Experience in using high-pressure water jetting equipment.

Ability to carry out dig ups safely and efficiently.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work on-call and respond to emergency situations outside of regular hours.

Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

NVQ plumbing or equivalent

CSCS card

Confined spaces ticket

High pressure water jetting ticket
