Door Tester
Ampthill Road, Bedford
£13.50 per hour (2pm–5pm) | £16.50 per hour (5pm–12am)
Monday to Thursday, 2pm–12am
Immediate start available
We are currently recruiting for a Door Tester to join a busy manufacturing team based on Ampthill Road, Bedford.
This is a hands-on role that involves moving doors through the production process, carrying out testing and using basic tools and computer systems.
What will you be doing?
Moving doors from the assembly area through to the testing area
Heavy lifting and handling of doors
Using hand tools to fit brackets, cables and components
Connecting and plugging in devices ready for testing
Carrying out testing procedures
Logging onto a PC and recording testing information
Following instructions and health & safety procedures
Working as part of a busy production team
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, production or warehouse environment is desirable
Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
Confident using basic hand tools
Basic computer skills
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to work the full Monday–Thursday evening shift
