Domicillary Supervisor in Basingstoke

We are seeking a strong Domicillary supervisor with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting challenge within healthcare. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in an elderly care home environment with good leadership skills and a strong personality.

Key details – Care Home Deputy Manager:

* Full time, permanent role (40 hours/week)

* £26,000 to £30,000 per annum, Annual bonus scheme

* Office Based

Domicillary Supervisor Job Description:

An experienced and dedicated individual is required to help run The Office whilst Leading a team of Care Assistants to provide Outstanding Care

Previous Domicillary Experience is preferred however this could be the ideal role for an experienced Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader looking to take a further step up. You will be required to draw up and implement care plans, carry out audits, assist with staff rotas and carry out other administrative duties as well as support 'on the floor' to promote best practice where required.

As a Domicillary Supervisor , you will work with the Registered Manager and Care team to effectively improve the quality of care and ensure that the home is running smoothly at all times. Reporting to the Domicillary Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident and to monitor and maintain these standards in line with contractual and legislative requirements. As the new Domicillary Supervisor you must be well organised, reliable, be able to pay attention to detail, keep calm in a crisis and share the company values of delivering the highest standard of care to the clients at all times.

The company is a family-run organisation who aim to look after their staff as well as their residents and they promote person-centred care throughout their home.

Domicillary Supervisor / Experience:

* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care minimum

* Medication trained

* Experience of working within a Care Home environment

* Proficient with: Care plans, Risk assessments, Supervisions, Liaising with families and other healthcare professionals

* Familiarity with DoLS, MCAs, audits and assessments would be advantageous but can be taught

* Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and time-management skills

Domicillary Supervisor duties will include:

* Draw up and implement care plans

* Carry out audits

* Shift leading and ensuring a high quality of care provision is maintained

* Completing staff rotas

* Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager and support them in their duties
