Domestic Gas Engineer

Description:

An established provider of gas and electrical services is looking to recruit experienced Domestic Gas Engineers for ongoing subcontract servicing work across Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified, self-employed Gas Safe engineers seeking a steady flow of work, competitive rates of pay and excellent earning potential.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out domestic gas appliance servicing and safety inspections, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

Carrying out servicing on domestic gas appliances, including boilers, fires and cookers

*

Completing landlord gas safety certificates (CP12)

*

Identifying and reporting faults, with strong diagnostic knowledge

*

Ensuring compliance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards

*

Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

Skills and experinece;

*

Current Gas Safe Registration

*

Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience

*

Valid ACS qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1

*

Proven domestic gas servicing and repair experience

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Own vehicle, tools and equipment

*

Minimum £2 million public liability insurance

*

Right to work in the UK
