Location: Sandwell (Office Based) ???? Salary: £14,870.70 - £15,290.87 per annum (£24,784.50 - £25,484.79 FTE) ⏰ Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday between 9:00am-5:00pm, hours/days negotiable)

Are you passionate about empowering women to rebuild their lives after domestic abuse? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Intervention Support Worker to provide high-quality, trauma-informed support to women and their children living within safe accommodation. This rewarding frontline role combines practical support, advocacy, crisis intervention and group work to help survivors regain safety, confidence and independence. The Role As a Domestic Abuse Intervention Support Worker, you will:

Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support to women and their children.
Manage a caseload, completing comprehensive risk and needs assessments and developing tailored support plans.
Deliver one-to-one and group-based domestic abuse interventions.
Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and practical guidance to help clients rebuild their lives.
Support women to access housing, benefits, healthcare, legal services and other community resources.
Advocate on behalf of clients and work closely with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Promote independence, confidence and long-term resilience.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure all safeguarding, GDPR and organisational procedures are followed.
Contribute to the safe and effective running of refuge accommodation where required.About You
We're looking for someone who has:

Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally within domestic abuse, homelessness, housing, supported accommodation or a similar environment.
Experience managing complex caseloads and undertaking risk and needs assessments.
Knowledge of domestic abuse, safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and multi-agency working.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
The ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Benefits
