Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Part-Time Applications Considered)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our dynamic team in Leeds. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining project documentation for our construction projects. Your expertise with Aconex or CRM software will be instrumental in ensuring seamless document control and communication across all project stakeholders.
Document Controller Key Responsibilities:
Document Management:
* Maintain and manage all project documents and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
* Implement and uphold document control processes and procedures.
System Administration:
* Utilize Aconex or other CRM software to upload, distribute, and track project documentation.
* Ensure all project documentation is correctly logged and filed in the system.
Quality Control:
* Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation meets company and project standards.
* Ensure version control and document revisions are accurately maintained.
Coordination and Communication:
* Act as the primary point of contact for document-related queries and issues.
* Facilitate effective communication between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Training and Support:
* Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures and software use.
* Troubleshoot any issues related to document management systems.
Qualifications:
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry.
* Proficiency with Aconex or similar CRM/document management software.
Skills:
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Education:
* A degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Management) is preferred but not essential.
Desired Experience:
* Experience working in a project management consultancy.
* Familiarity with construction project lifecycle and associated documentation.
* Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for document control.
