I am recruiting on behlf of my client for a Document Controller to join an established engineering and construction business.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation operating within a technical project environment, supporting the delivery of complex engineering and construction projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project documentation, maintaining document control systems, and ensuring information is accurate, compliant, and delivered efficiently across project teams.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing incoming and outgoing project documentation
* Maintaining document registers, version control, and document traceability
* Ensuring documentation is accurately filed, stored, and accessible
* Supporting project teams with document submissions and information flow
* Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely submission of required documentation
* Carrying out document audits to maintain compliance and quality standards
* Supporting document control processes and system improvements
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Document Control, ideally gained within an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or similar project-based environment.
You will have:
* Experience with document management systems (Asite and Viewpoint experience would be advantageous)
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
* Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
