Description:

Exciting opportunity to join a leading energy company specialising in the design and development of long-duration energy storage solutions for utility and distributed power systems. This role focuses on a cutting-edge project aimed at reducing renewable energy waste and delivering clean, reliable, and cost-efficient long-duration energy storage.

The successful candidate will lead the governance, control and continuous improvement of project and asset information across its lifecycle. The role ensures information is accurate, compliant, traceable, secure and accessible through effective use of document control and common data environment (CDE) processes.

The Role:
Develop, implement, and maintain document control and information management plans, procedures, standards, and systems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, company and project information standards, data protection requirements, and agreed information protocols.
Manage the full information lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, retention, archiving, and retrieval through controlled systems and workflows.
Administer and optimise Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Common Data Environments (CDE), ensuring data integrity, user access control, and system functionality.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, quality teams, clients, and stakeholders to meet information management and project delivery requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and increasing automation within information management practices.
 Required Experience:
Proven experience in document control, information management, or records management roles within large projects or regulated industries.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing document control or information management teams and stakeholder coordination.
Experience administering and managing EDMS/CDE platforms such as Aconex, ProjectWise, or SharePoint.
Strong knowledge of information governance, compliance, audit processes, and standards such as ISO 19650 and data protection requirements.
Experience supporting large-scale engineering, construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
Proven ability to improve information workflows, drive process automation, and manage full project handover and archive activities.
