Description:
A highly successful division of a global manufacturing organisation supplying complex components to the aerospace, automotive & high technology has a new vacancy for Divisional Quality Manager. Joining at a time of investment and company growth, you will manage site quality activities with an emphasis on development of the team and ensuring customer quality requirements are met. Key responsibilities:
Lead the development and management of quality management system.
Manage, coach and develop the quality team.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Support the QMS development.
Perform audits, analyse data, and prepare reports for management.
Manage and resolve quality-related issues with customers and suppliers.
Ensure the implementation of adequate preventive and evaluation tools.
Manage Non-Conforming Products.
Ensure that all specific issues regarding EHS and quality are implemented and observed.
The Person:
Experienced working in a highly regulated sector (automotive, aerospace, etc).
Proven track record working in a senior quality function.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
A hands on and engaging management approach.
A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred (not essential).
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and business systems
