Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts: 6:00am–2:30pm / 2:45pm–11:15pm
Join Our Client's Team as a Distribution Supervisor;
We're looking for a motivated and organised Distribution Supervisor to lead our clients warehouse and distribution team, ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, safely, and on time. If you have supervisory experience within a fast-paced warehouse or transport environment and enjoy leading by example, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role;
As a Distribution Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the distribution operation, ensuring products are loaded safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities;
* Supervise and support the distribution team, including agency staff.
* Coordinate loading of customer orders, crates, containers, and vehicles.
* Ensure customer orders are complete, accurate, and ready for dispatch.
* Assist with customer collections and driver loading.
* Transport materials between business units when required.
* Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure all orders are correctly documented.
* Monitor stock discrepancies and investigate missing items.
* Identify damaged products and report issues promptly.
* Conduct staff appraisals, training, and performance meetings.
* Manage team attendance, timesheets, and holiday or sickness cover.
* Investigate operational issues and implement improvements where appropriate.
About You;
We're looking for someone who has:
* At least two years' experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role.
* Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or transport environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Team management qualifications (desirable).
