Distribution Operative – DayShift
We are currently recruiting for a Distribution Operative to join the warehouse team at a leading book manufacturing company.
This is a hands-on role within a busy distribution environment, initially focusing on sortation and post, with opportunities to support across other areas of the warehouse as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sorting books and products accurately
* Preparing and handling post and outgoing goods
* Moving stock around the warehouse
* Loading and unloading goods
* Pallet handling and general warehouse duties
* Ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently
* Working as part of a busy warehouse team
What We're Looking For:
* Previous warehouse or distribution experience is desirable
* Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable, hardworking and punctual
* Comfortable working 12-hour dayshifts
* Comfortable standing for long hours
The Shift:
6:00am – 6:00pm
3 days on - 4 days off (including a Saturday as per rota)
