Distribution Manager
£55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced Distribution Manager looking to move away from 24/7 operations? Maybe you're looking to join a business where your input is valued?
As a Distribution Manager, you will be overseeing a close-knit office team and managing a fleet of articulated & rigid vehicles operating throughout Ireland. You will have the opportunity to play an important role in the further growth, expansion and improvements within the transport department, working with your team to ensure customer satisfaction standards are adhered to.
In your day-to-day you'll be dealing with planning, compliance, fleet management and working closely with the warehousing and sales teams to offer customers an unrivalled service. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for all things transport related.

The Role
Leading a transport office and team of professional drivers
Maintain fleet compliance and ensure safety is a priority
Overseeing fleet maintenance to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
Closely monitor KPI's & SLA's.
Manage drivers; dealing with infringements, compliance checks, etc
Produce & maintain accurate reporting for senior management
Maintain responsibilty for the full fleet
Support the operations and scheduling team.
You will need:
Knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
Good geographical knowledge of Ireland
Prior Experience in a Transport or Distribution Management role
