Description:
We recruiting on behalf of a busy engineering company based in Brierely Hill that specialsie in strucutral projects.
* Working on the shop floor/stores within an engineering environment
* To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and faults/damages.
* Moving steel using forklift truck and overhead crane
* Loading and unloading of vehicles
* Storing items in relevant sections.
* Packing & assembly goods in boxes.
* Maintaining a clean working environment in yard and shop floor.
* Ensure all stock movement is recorded correctly.
Experience/Requirements
* Previous working experience in logistics environment is advantageous
* FLT Counter balance licence is essential
* Overhead crane licence is essential
* Goods in/out experience
* Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
* Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
* Attention to detail
* Comfortable with manual handling.
