Description:
CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Dispatch Operative in Newton Abbott, TQ12.
Initial duties :
* Pick electrical products from warehouse stock according to customer orders.
* Check products, quantities and order details for accuracy before dispatch.
* Inspect goods for visible damage or defects and report any issues.
* Pack electrical goods securely to prevent damage during transportation.
* Prepare shipping labels, delivery notes and other required dispatch paperwork.
* Load and unload goods safely using appropriate equipment.
* Ensure fragile, heavy or specialist electrical items are handled and packaged appropriately.
* Update warehouse or stock-control systems accurately.
* Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods.
* Work with couriers, drivers and other departments to ensure timely deliveries.
* Follow company procedures for returns, damaged goods and delivery discrepancies.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and dispatch area.
* Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
* Assist with stock checks and general warehouse duties when required.
Shift Pattern:
* Monday – Thursday, 7am - 4pm
* Friday, 7am - 12pm
