Dispatch Operator
Evesham
Temp – Perm
£11.90
40 hours per week
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working experienced warehouse operative to join their established dispatch team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all parts are picked, packaged, and shipped as required to achieve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and work from picking lists, to fulfil and dispatch customer orders
* Processing orders ensuring that the customer SLA & instructions are fully implemented
* Ensure that all orders are fulfilled within specific order cut-off timeframes
* Ensure the correct handling, palletising, and store of products in a high standard
* Ensure all dispatches of electrical and / or hazardous products adhere with EU/UK trading compliances
* Carry perpetual Inventory counting (Cycle counts) and variance investigations
* Ensure all international dispatches adhere with appropriate export documentations
* Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy, with empty boxes removed from the pick locations
* Potential risks, problems or product defects are to be reported immediately to line manager.

Essential skills and Experience
* Good teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks whilst under pressure
* A self- driven person with a positive outlook and excellent time keeping skills
* Strong communicator, that enjoys working as part of a fast-moving team
* Experience of handheld bar-code scanners an advantage but not essential
