Description:

Sharper are working with our Sussex client, who needs an experienced DFG (Disabled Facilities Grants) practitioner to pick up a live caseload and run with it.

You'll manage DFG cases start to finish. Property inspections, feasibility assessments, specs and schedules of works, liaising with OTs, contractors and residents through to completion sign-off.

We need someone who's actually done DFGs, not just general housing enforcement- level-access showers, ramps, stairlifts, door widening, kitchen adaptations, the full range.

What you'll need:

* Solid DFG casework experience in a local authority (or similar) setting

* Comfortable inspecting properties and assessing adaptation feasibility

* Used to working with OTs and turning their recommendations into workable specs

* Can manage your own caseload with minimal hand-holding

* EH/Housing/Building Surveying qualification desirable — strong hands-on DFG experience also considered
