A leading independent property and construction consultancy is seeking an established Regional Director of Project Management to lead and grow their Project Management offering across Manchester and Leeds. This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded Regional Director of Project Management to take ownership of an established regional service line, work with major institutional clients and play an influential role in the future growth of the business. The successful Regional Director of Project Management will inherit strong foundations while having the autonomy to build further.

The Regional Director of Project Management will combine senior-level project delivery with business development, client management and team leadership. They are looking for a Regional Director of Project Management with an established network who can generate fee income, strengthen existing relationships and identify new opportunities across the Manchester and Leeds markets.

The Regional Director of Project Management - The North's role

The Regional Director of Project Management - The North will lead the regional Project Management service, delivering high-profile schemes across sectors including industrial, offices, purpose-built student accommodation and build to rent.

Alongside end-to-end project delivery, you will develop the regional business plan, coordinate business development activity, drive best practice and quality, oversee resourcing and support the continued development of the team.

You will work closely with senior leaders across the wider consultancy while maintaining direct relationships with investors, developers and major commercial property clients.

The Regional Director of Project Management - The North

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Significant senior Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
An established client base with demonstrable potential to generate new instructions and fee income
Strong knowledge of the Manchester and Leeds property markets
Proven business development and client relationship experience
Experience leading, mentoring and developing Project Management teams
Strong commercial awareness and a track record of achieving financial targets
Experience delivering major commercial property projects
A relevant degree and MRICS qualification
Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and current statutory requirements
