An established and ambitious construction business is seeking an experienced Technical Services Director to join its leadership team and play a key role in the next phase of growth.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded, highly reputable organisation with significant expansion plans within the commercial fit-out sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical services across multiple projects, developing high-performing teams, and helping drive successful project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will:
Provide strategic leadership across all technical services functions.
Oversee the delivery of major commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Lead, mentor and develop Technical Services Managers and wider technical teams.
Support pre-construction activities, bid submissions and client engagement.
Drive technical excellence, innovation and best practice throughout project delivery.
Work closely with operational, commercial and design teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
Contribute to business growth through technical leadership and market presence.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess:
A proven track record leading technical services on large-scale commercial fit-out or construction projects (£50M+).
Experience managing multiple projects and technical teams simultaneously.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to influence both internally and externally at a senior level.
Experience working for recognised fit-out contractors, main contractors or specialist construction businesses.
A commercial mindset with an understanding of how technical delivery contributes to business success.
The credibility and presence to represent the business with key clients and industry partners.
