Are you ready to lead and shape the future of high-performing services in a dynamic and forward-looking organization? Our client is seeking a visionary Director of Operations and Estates to join their Senior Management Team and drive excellence in service delivery.
Role Summary:
As the Director of Operations and Estates, you will play a pivotal role in leading the direction and coordination of our Facilities and Estates division. You will be held accountable for defined operational services, ensuring high performance and adherence to regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Managing Director and Board, you will advise on operational delivery, compliance, governance, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of a culture of continuous improvement aligned with strategy and objectives.
Manage performance to meet activity, financial, budget, and service level targets.
Ensure compliance, governance, and probity standards are maintained.
Develop and maintain effective performance management processes and systems.
Collaborate with the Finance & Commercial Director to manage budgetary and cost-efficiency planning.
Establish robust workforce/people plans to include succession planning and talent management.
Drive business continuity and effective emergency preparedness processes.
Deliver business plan objectives related to service responsibility areas.
Develop and manage operational teams to ensure quality service delivery.
Identify and develop strategic relationships external to the organisation.
Implement business management goals and objectives as a member of the Leadership Team.
Manage service organisation communications in collaboration with the Communications lead.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant experience in operational management within a similar setting.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving performance excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement
