Director of Fundraising and Programmes - Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspiring leader to take on the role of Director of Fundraising and Partnerships with a reputable and values-driven charity organisation that operates within the civil rights arena. You will be joining the organisation at a crucial period of growth and working to build and execute an effective fundraising strategy.

As Director of Fundraising, your role involves leading and inspiring the fundraising team, whilst building and maintaining strategic partnerships and delivering programmes of work across the company’s policy priorities. In addition, you will be responsible for:

* Taking overall responsibility for achieving fundraising and income targets across a diverse portfolio.

* Developing and managing key relationships with a number of corporate partners to maintain, grow and diversify income from corporate funding sources.

* Overseeing delivery programmes whilst ensuring they meet legal requirements and governance arrangements are in place.

* Working closely with the Senior Leadership and Finance Teams on long term strategic plans, effective business processes and fit for purpose CRM.

* Line Management of the Fundraising and Project Managers, along with other members of the fundraising team as required.

* Represent the organisation externally, including deputising for the CEO as required.

The successful candidate must have proven leadership and fundraising experience within the charitable or not-for-profit sector, along with a strong track record of meeting fundraising and income generation targets with particular focus on trusts and foundations, corporate or high value donors. You will have experience of strategic planning, budgeting and monitoring and be used to delivering complex programmes and projects from initial scoping meetings to reporting and delivering against KPI’s and targets. You will be a creative thinker with personal drive and energy to innovate and shape new or unlikely partnerships.
