Our client, a highly successful, multi-disciplinary engineering firm is looking for their next strategic hire - at Director level! They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Civil Engineering to join their prestigious engineering firm based in London. This is a rare opportunity to join our clients leadership team and make a significant impact on the growth and success of their organisation. As a Director, you will have the unique opportunity to become an equity partner in the firm, allowing you to share in the company's success and contribute to its long-term vision.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the civil engineering division, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from concept design through to construction and completion
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
Leading and mentoring a team of talented civil engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of performance and technical excellence
Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering projects with other disciplines such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain the firm's competitive edge
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and quality control proceduresRequirements:

A degree in civil engineering or equivalent
A Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional engineering body
Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Director or in a similar leadership role within the engineering industry
Strong technical expertise in civil engineering, with a track record of successful project delivery across a diverse range of projects
Excellent business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners,
