We're on the lookout for a skilled Digital Project Manager to spearhead the Strategic Innovation Team's latest endeavor-a £2.5 million Digital Office Pilot Scheme. This groundbreaking projectaims to revolutionize how digital services are coordinated, making them more efficient and effective.

*About the Role:*

This is a unique, three-year project that will test a shared Digital Office service and assess its impact on delivering a Digital Plan. You'll play a crucial role from the get-go, leading a 6-month initiation phase to set the wheels in motion for an October 2024 launch. Your work will involve:

- Collaborating closely with stakeholders within the organisation, telecom providers, and other stakeholders to co-design the prototype service, a resource model, and a joint workplan.

- Establishing a robust governance framework and monitoring arrangements, ensuring strategic oversight by the organisation.

- Co-designing the Digital Office scheme, aligning resources, coordination functions, and joint working arrangements.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Develop and implement a detailed delivery plan, ensuring clear deliverables, milestones, and resource management.

- Monitor and report progress diligently, maintaining alignment with the Programme Manager for digital transformation.

- Forge a comprehensive stakeholder engagement plan, facilitating effective communication throughout the project.

- Initiate governance arrangements for strategic oversight and support the creation of a Digital Infrastructure Board.

- Plan and oversee the transition to new shared services, including user onboarding and external support specifications.

*What We're Looking For:*

*Qualifications & Knowledge:*

- A degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.

- Professional project management certification (eg, APM, MSP, PRINCE2).

*Experience:*

- A proven track record in project/programme management within local authority, combined authority, or government sectors.

- Demonstrable success in delivering projects involving complex stakeholder environments at a senior level.

*Skills & Competencies:*

- Autonomy in operation with the ability to lead with minimal direction.

- Exceptional planning, organizational, and financial management skills.

- Strong ability to build partnerships and maintain effective relationships across all organizational levels.

- Solution-oriented with a knack for constructive challenge and achieving targets.

*Desirable:*

- Familiarity with the Telecoms sector and digital connectivity.

- Experience in digital infrastructure deployment and understanding the role of Local Government.
