Digital Printer
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: DOE
Company: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.
Role: Setting up press, colour matching jobs, checking quality of print and ad-hoc tasks.
* Operating presses to print jobs efficiently and to the highest possible standard.
* Setting up jobs.
* Inputting data into MIS including material consumptions and clocking data.
* Maximize machine efficiency to achieve estimated times.
* Manage a schedule of work on an hourly/daily/weekly basis & understand the targets set and the importance of your part in the process.
* Keep workstation and work area tidy and organize
Requirements:
* Experience running digital presses - ideally within labels and packaging
* Ideally from a Packaging / Labels background but will consider other print
* Experience within the labels/ print/ packaging industry preferred
* Ideally technical knowledge of digital label printing, materials, and tooling (but training can be given)
* Ability to work well under tight deadlines for projects of various size and scope
* Positive "can do" customer focus and attitude
* Develop knowledge of materials available
* Maintain operating procedures with attention to detail
