A well-established and growing integrated marketing agency in the North East is looking to appoint a Digital PR Consultant to join its expanding team. Due to continued client growth and increasing demand for Digital PR services, this is an opportunity to take ownership of campaigns, build strong client relationships, and deliver impactful results across a diverse client portfolio.
This position would suit an ambitious Digital PR professional who enjoys hands-on campaign delivery, media relations, content ideation, and securing high-quality coverage.
The Role
As a Digital PR Consultant, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering Digital PR campaigns that generate meaningful media coverage, backlinks, brand awareness, and commercial results for clients.
Working closely with clients and internal specialists, you'll develop creative campaign ideas, build relationships with journalists, and drive coverage across national, regional, trade, and online publications.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Digital PR campaigns from concept through to execution.
Develop creative story angles and outreach strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and key media contacts.
Secure high-quality media coverage and backlinks across relevant publications.
Create press releases, media pitches, and supporting campaign content.
Manage day-to-day client communication and reporting.
Monitor campaign performance and provide insight-driven recommendations.
Collaborate with SEO, Content, Social, and Marketing teams to maximise campaign impact.
Identify reactive PR opportunities and newsjacking opportunities.
Support the development of new campaign ideas and ongoing client growth. About You

Previous experience within Digital PR, PR, Content Marketing, or a related agency environment.
A proven track record of securing media coverage and building journalist relationships.
Strong written communication and storytelling abilities.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Commercial awareness and confidence working directly with clients.
A proactive, creative approach to campaign generation.
Knowledge of SEO and link-building principles would be advantageous but is not essential. What's on Offer
