Digital Navigator

Details:

  • Location: Exeter Devon
  • Date: 1 month ago
Description:

We’re looking for a Digital Navigator to join our awesome team!

So, what is a Digital Navigator? Well, quite simply, it is someone who will help our participants navigate the digital world. From jobsites to social media, from Microsoft Teams to smart-phones; these are the tools that we need to use in the modern world, and your role will be to help people get the best from them. You’ll need to be able to engage with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, but you don’t need to be a computer expert or consummate IT professional!

Our ideal candidate will need to be a people-person, with the ability to communicate and train our participants (either one-to-one or in a group setting) without being patronising or blinding them with science! Providing awareness, guidance, and support to participants by delivering “How to” training-sessions for a range of digital resources, you’ll help them maximise our online tools, such as a dedicated Job Search engine, a wide range of E-learning content and other digital resources.

Providing that you have experience in face-to-face communication and engagement with people, we’ll consider a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box, just so long as you have an engaging personality, are comfortable working with a diverse group of people, and can provide a knowledgeable interaction to help our customers in their first steps back into employment.

As an organisation we deliver a range of Employability & Health contracts which support unemployed people ‘back to work’. This job role forms part of our Restart Scheme.

In return for your passion, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive range of £23,088 to £25,200 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great additional benefits:

• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Birthday Day off (with the opportunity to buy additional days)
• 2 Volunteer Days
• Pension - 5% Employee 5% Employer
• Healthcare Cash Plan, incl. 3 x salary life assurance
• Annual Pay Review
• Refer a Friend Scheme
• Free access to BenefitHub – an online portal with access to a wide range of retail discounts, cycle to work scheme and additional voluntary benefits.

There’s also the opportunity to progress your career within the Seetec Group.

Interested? There’s an easy to apply route below to upload your CV!
